The Easy Saturday Skate started in 2004, and it’s been running every week from then.  

It was setup for beginners to have some where safe, away from traffic, and any other pressers to skate in a group. Its a very good stepping stone from skate lessons to street skating.

It’s has also become a good way to start a Saturday on skates. So we have quite a few old school skaters that join us every week.

After two laps of the park (we some time do a third lap at Sunday Stroll pace) off for a coffee at the cafe in the park, for more chatting.

We only have a few rules:

You skate at your own risk (you were the one who put the skates on).

Respect other park users.
